Our daycare and grooming centre is a converted residential home, conveniently situated in the heart of Tweed Heads commercial district, bordering Coolangatta, Queensland.
Doggie Playmates provides a unique recreational daycare environment with outdoor space to run, chase, climb, explore, develop dog agility skills, and participate in a wide range of stimulating, and healthy activities, dogs’ enjoy.
Our open door policy allow dogs to move freely from inside playrooms to outside yards. This enables continuity of outside toileting routines, dogs’ choice of play activities, and playmates to play with, within the confines of our daycare areas.
Dogs attending for grooming services, are not caged, during or after grooming procedures. On individual assessment, these dogs will have the opportunity to play with daycare dogs, or rest comfortably in the Doggie Playmates Lounge.
Our range of services focus on supporting a dog’s sense of self, enjoyment of activities with other dogs, their individual care needs, and overall well-being. Like quality child care, we take on a wholistic approach to the care of each dog placed in our care, here, at Doggie Playmates.
Doggie Playmates is a specialty, dog day care service, providing a healthy, alternative to indoor day care for dogs.
Puppy Play-social groups provide an opportunity for young puppies to meet, play, and explore new experiences together in our outdoor play yards. Puppy Training options include Essential Commands, and Beginner Good Manners

Cage Free dog grooming services for all breeds, and sizes. From a nail clip or teeth clean, to full groom. Mature dogs, skin conditions, difficult dogs catered for.
We offer a wide selection of healthy natural dog treats and chews, including our very popular home produced, chicken treats. Essential pet care, and home grooming supplies are also available for purchase at our centre.
